Ms. Morrow's Homepage

A LITTLE ABOUT ME:
Hi! I'm Jo Morrow, 8th grade Exceptional Children's teacher and I was given an awesome opportunity to become part of the family at PCMS last school year! I have an 18 year old daughter who attends UNC at Wilmington (GO SEAHAWKS!) and is the apple of my eye. I have one rescue dog, Babygirl, and recently added a kitten, Rango.  I mostly enjoy hanging out at home-cooking, watching a wide variety of shows, reading, and spending time with family and friends. I love the beach and have recently visited Key West this past summer. My favorite traveling experience was to Haiti. I've lived in Florida and Georgia, but NC is my home and I returned as an adult to ENC!

EXPERIENCE:
I've taught for 21 years, all in the Eastern NC area. I attended East Carolina University, where I was fourth generation alumni. My great grandparents went there when it was ECTC (East Carolina Teacher's College) many years ago. I am originally from Oriental and went to school here during my elementary career. I was even was a student here at the former "Pamlico Junior High". I've received my National Board Certification, taught grades 2-8th, worked with adults in the community to support employment and living for people with varying disabilities. I'm a current member of NCAE and the Autism Society of NC.
