About Mrs. Hampson
I was born and raised in Eastern Pennsylvania and graduated from Bloomsburg University in 2015 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mid-Level Mathematics for grades 4-8. That same year, I relocated to North Carolina to begin teaching at S.W. Snowden Elementary School in Aurora, where I taught Math to 6th, 7th, and 8th graders for two years. In 2017, I joined Pamlico County Middle School and have since taught 7th Grade Math and Science, and now focus on 8th Grade Math and Math 1.
I currently live in New Bern with my husband, Bill, who is starting his 6th year at PCMS. Our family includes two dogs, Leia, age 5, and Padme, age 1, as well as two cats, Tang, age 7, and Oreo, age 4. Outside of teaching, I love spending time at the beach, baking, reading, and watching TV.
I'm looking forward to another exciting year in my teaching career. I can't wait to meet all my new students and support their growth in Mathematics and get them ready for high school! It is a great day to be a Hurricane!
