Mrs. Sanderson
I am so excited to be part of Pamlico Middle School! In October of 2020 my husband and I moved to Vandemere to enjoy small town living. We love the peace and quiet we have found on the Bay River. In the past, I have taught 4th, 5th, and 6th grades in Pitt County. Before moving to Pamlico County, my last five years were spent in a STEM lab where the students and I enjoyed hands on critical thinking science activities.
I graduated from East Carolina University in 1984 with a major in Elementary Education Grades 4-9. In 1996 I received my Masters in Educational Technology and Education. I then earned my National Board Certification in 2003.
My husband of 38 years and I have four grown children and 5 grandchildren with another one due in February 2023. We are so blessed to have a happy and healthy family. In my free time I enjoy gardening, baking, and crocheting blankets. My husband and I also enjoy fishing and spending time on the Bay River.
7th Grade Math
We have a lot to learn throughout the year! Students will be expected to be prepared for class by having necessary supplies and homework completed. I take pride in my teaching and love showing that all students can be successful in math with a little bit of work.
