About Mr. Hampson

     Welcome to the 2023-2024 Hurricane school year!  This will be my 9th year teaching in North Carolina and my 7th year teaching in Pamlico County.  My first two years I taught fifth grade at Fred A Anderson and transferred to the Middle School for the 2019-2020 year.  I teach 8th grade Science here at PCMS and love every second of it!

     I currently live in New Bern and am happily married to my wife Megan, who is beginning her 7th year teaching Math at PCMS.  We have a 4 year old dog named Leia, an 8 month old puppy named Padme, a 5 year old cat named Tang, and three year old cats named Vader and Oreo.  Apart from teaching,  I enjoy traveling, golf and woodworking. I look forward to working with all the wonderful staff and students this year. I am very excited to begin this school year and the challenges and rewards it will bring.  Thank you and let's have a great year!  #hurricane strong
