A Star is Born! Well, she's actually always been a star around here. . . Pamlico County Middle School's STEM teacher, the extraordinary Sheri Hale made her television debut this past week!
Ms. Hale has taught fourth and fifth-grade students but is now sharing her passion for science with our PCMS students and students all over the state!
Frame of Minds, partnered with Cam Productions to produce the NC STEM Explorers TV show that targets middle school-aged students. Ms. Hale said she initially became interested in the opportunity this past summer. Ms. Hale says, "...it looked cool for a kid to earn some money for college and to get out to the public more about what STEM is all about." The conversation eventually led to a virtual interview. After the interview, the producers asked if she could do 2 topics with 11-13 minute segments.
The show "NC STEM Explorers" will show throughout the state and will be available online for use in classrooms after the television presentation.

WNCT – 5:30 a.m.
WRAL – 11:30 a.m.
WWAY – 7:30 a.m.
WGHP – 8:30 a.m.
WSOC – 8:00 a.m.
The episode on Animal Cells will air 1st run on 10/29/22 then rerun on 1/7/2023.
The episode on Engineering will air 1st run on 4/1/2023 then rerun on 7/29/2023.
