My name is Jessica Sadler (Ms. Sadler). I was raised in Pamlico County and currently reside in Oriental. I have been so fortunate to benefit from most of my family being local as well. I attended Pamlico County High School and graduated in 2003, going on to attend East Carolina University. I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in 2007 in Communication and a Minor in Psychology. I then went on to pursue a Graduate Degree in Counselor Education. I graduated in 2012 with a Masters of Science. Moving forward, I worked at Havelock High School for five years as a school counselor serving a military community. In 2018, I advanced to a top performing high school in the state, Croatan High School, in Carteret County. While working in this capacity, I was honored as a National Board Certified Counselor. Most recently, accepting the position at Pamlico County Middle School as a school counselor, I continue to pursue my clinical counseling licensure, earning the distinction as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor-Associate.
My office is the 2nd door when you enter the media center (behind Mrs. Prescott). I have an open door policy, so both students and parents can pop in and see me whenever is convenient for them. A Google form will also be shared with students so they can sign up for individual appointments to meet with me, taking into account the most appropriate times that align with both teacher expectations and class time. My office hours are 7:30-3:30.
