Welcome to Mrs. Brown's 6th Grade Class! I am so excited to embark on this journey together! I look forward to an AMAZING year and getting to know you and your family!
A Little About Me...
This is my 15th year teaching, and my 5th here at Pamlico County Middle School! I will be teaching Language Arts this year.
I graduated from Penn State University in 2008 (GO NITTANY LIONS!) and worked in Pennsylvania as both a classroom teacher in grades K-3, then as the Director of STEM Education and Gifted Coordinator the last few years. My husband, Jason, and I have been married for 14 years and have a daughter, Eliza, who will be starting 2nd Grade at PCPS this year. We also have one German Shepherd named Rebel, as well as a cat named Nittany. I love running, reading, fishing, and hitting the beach on the weekends.
Family is everything to me, and I can't wait to have a whole new class full of new students I can call family!
